No. The S60-4 connects directly to the cloud over 4G LTE and reports via TCP, UDP or MQTT. An eSIM or Nano SIM provides the connection — no local infrastructure, no gateway.
Yes. Besides still liquid surfaces such as water, oil and chemical solvents, the S60 measures bulk-solid material levels including grain, feed, cement and aggregates. For best accuracy the material surface should be relatively even; the tight 5° field of view keeps readings stable even in narrow silos.
Within the 0–2.5 cm blind zone the sensor cannot measure. From 2.5 cm to 25 cm accuracy is better than 10 mm; beyond 25 cm it is better than 4% of the measured distance.
Yes. The enclosure is rated IP68 and the operating range is −40 to +85 °C, so it tolerates rain, dust and extreme temperatures. The white or black ABS shell screws onto standard tank fittings for tool-free mounting. For tank applications we recommend mounting on the tank lid — drilling only the lid keeps the tank body itself intact.
